The Heathro™ Shrimp Pump is used to safely and quickly transfer shrimp from one location to another or for harvest, causing very low levels of stress on the shrimp while making life easier for employees. This cart mounted self priming pump can be moved around your site with ease. Available in three power models: electric, gasoline and hydraulic, so there is no longer any need to have many different pumps on the same site, the Heathro™ Shrimp Pump can easily be changed to accept 6", 4" & 3" fittings on the inlet and outlet.
The Heathro™ Shrimp Pump is in use in the United States, Mexico, Thailand and Indonesia and is also available as a submersible model.

How It Works
|
Once the small priming tank is filled with water, simply place the inlet hose in the water.
Turn the pump on and start drawing shrimp and water into the pump.
The cast aluminum single vane impellor then gently pushes the shrimp to the discharge hose.
The shrimp and water then move along the discharge hose to the transfer point.
The pump has a self priming height of up to 3 meters with a head capacity of up to 5 meters for a total combined lift of up to 8 meters.
