Belt Graders

The Belt Grader is a compact and efficient grading machine that is available in three sizes to handle fish from 3g to 7kg. Very gentle on your fish, it can be easily combined with a Pescalator™ or Heathro™ Fish Pump for an unbeatable integrated grading system.

How It Works

Fish are delivered to the Belt Grader by a fish pump or Pescalator™. Fish enter into the V-trough, and then move onto the soft, moving belts. The belts are adjusted so that the smallest fish drop through first, then the medium sizes and lastly the largest size. Gaps between belts, and therefore grading sizes, can be adjusted while machine is running.
