The Pescalator™ Shrimp Harvester has been developed to harvest shrimp from drain down systems.  It connects directly to the pond outlet and eliminates the need for costly harvest basins.  Two workers can easily install and operate this machine and harvest up to 10 tons of shrimp per hour.

How It Works

The Shrimp Harvester works on the Archimedes Screw principle by lifting the water and the shrimp simultaneously from the pond and gently raising them on the auger. The shrimp pass over the dewatering snozzle and onto shock ice ready for processing in perfect condition. The Shrimp Harvester can be stopped for short periods of time with shrimp in the cylinder and if necessary it can be reversed by hand to lower shrimp back into the pond.
